Since the last decade, Indian economy has been treading the high growth path. This has led to increase in job opportunities in India. Earlier, Indians had fascination for government jobs; however, things have taken a complete u-turn today, with demand for private jobs skyrocketing . The privatization and globalization policies endorsed by government of India have led to increased job opportunities in the country. Industries falling in the sectors of finance, insurance and real estate seem upbeat and are increasingly chalking out plans to expand the number of employees in these varied sectors. Even other sectors seem shoring up and are offering good number of job opportunities in India. About 45 percent of the employers showed interest in staffing requirements. The finance sector seems buoyant with marked growth being witnessed in areas of multinational banking in India. Many of the multinational bank jobs in Mumbai led to increase in business activities in the Western India. Even teaching jobs in India will be in great demand, as many youth in India have switched over to IT jobs which have led to vast vacancy in the field of higher education and research. The declining number of good quality teachers in India’s government’s school is a testimony of the fact. Jobs in India have significantly scaled up in the software sectors. Though IT jobs were coming up in a big way in some metropolises of India, however, they are slowly making their presence felt in the tier-II cities of India as well. While we are on the topic of IT jobs, a special mention needs to be made about the outsourcing jobs as well. It’s important to note that with the onset of globalization, more jobs are being outsourced to India, thereby creating ample job opportunities across India. Interestingly, outsourcing in India has in fact improved given the advance of communication system of the country. Further, India is said to have the highest number of young and skilled English speaking work force, giving the country an additional edge over the other competitors. The advancements made in communication and infrastructure has made video conferencing a way of life in the BPO companies. The outsourcing jobs In India helps achieve lower costs of communication, transportation and efficiency in production. Improved communications helps do away with all kinds of trade and cultural barriers. Even Engineering jobs in India are growing day by day. This is because of the massive developments taking place in the country in the last few years. Furthermore, the retail sector in India has being coming up in a big way in India. So every company in this domain is looking out for salesmen who could accelerate their sales and gather better results. Companies are on the look out for better employees who could take their sales to a higher level.
