As this summit is going to be a global event truly, it has a huge setup and design. Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Modi who can be mentioned as a backbone of the summit, is surrounded by all the delegations coming throughout the globe. Main platform of the event is specially designed in that way, so that the Chief Minister willing his state to be a global business hub will be addressing and meeting the international delegations in personal. A big pavilion has been set up for the tourism sector as the main aim of the summit is to globalize the tourism industry of the state. This will make the participants all over the world aware of the tourism sector in the state, in a proper and detailed manner. Another one pavilion has been allotted for the small and medium scale industries, which is the next focused sector of government of Gujarat during the summit. This is so, because according to the state’s Chief Minister Narendra Modi these small and medium enterprises (SMEs) can help big industries and manufacturing sectors in the current economic slowdown.
The special arrangement for the dignitaries and industrialists, who would be visiting the event, too is here. Two VIP lounges are being set up for the galaxy of dignitaries and industrialists from India and abroad. Along with the seminars and conventions the business meetings between the participants is also the part of this summit. Various kinds of meetings have been conducted within the summit. Separate stalls are being allotted for the business meetings in one-to-one form.
The huge set up has been made for the one week mega exhibition which is the part of this global summit. The exhibition is having nearly 120 stalls. These stalls are being offered to various corporate houses, institutions and investors, coming here to showcase their products and services. This exhibition is serving as a platform for these participants to promote and explore the business worldwide.
As various sectors are going to be there in the exhibition, the exhibition area needs perfect planning for up to date set up. For this the exhibition area has been chalked out according to different types of industries and sectors. One area has been planned out for information technology, engineering and electricals; another has been drawn up for roads and ports, pharma and bio-tech, power and gas, chemicals and petrochemicals. Other sections are for the sectors like mining, SEZ - DMIC - PCPIR, health and medical, urban development and infrastructure, environment, education, textiles, dairy and agriculture, forest, international small industries and tourism.
