Watters Creek at Montgomery Farm will begin a new weekly Farmers Market on Saturday, April 4, and has space available for additional vendors.

The open-air market will be located at the south end of Market Street by DSW and will be run each Saturday from 8 a.m.-noon. Several vendors have already signed up to sell their locally grown or manufactured products including produce, honey, yogurt and cheese items. For the time being, Watters Creek will waive any fees and will provide a booth for the vendor.

“The Farmers Market is one of the community projects we’ve been planning to do for some time,” said Watters Creek General Manager Harold Dull. “We’re excited about the opportunity to work with our local growers and hope the public will find it to be a great experience.”
