White, polymer emulsion for use with cement-based Adhesives. Suitable for use in interior and exterior locations in both dry and wet service conditions. ADMIX AD1 is a polymer additive for adhesives eg. BAL ENDURA GOLD STAR / WHITE STAR.
PERFORMANCE
The addition of ADMIX AD1 to GOLD STAR/WHITE STAR greatly improves their physical properties and characteristics.
. Increased tensile and shear adhesion strength.
- Essential for fixing fully vitrified tiles and glass mosaics.
- Essential for fixing ceramic and natural stones, tiles, slabs and mosaics to dense impervious backgrounds/bases including glazed ceramic tiles, power floated concrete and tile backer boards.
. Increased flexural strength and flexibility.
- Enabling the adhesives to be used where limited movement/vibration is anticipated e.g. industrial locations and balconies, external surfaces of tall buildings.
. Reduced water permeability
- Providing greater protection to water sensitive backgrounds e.g. timber floor and plasterboard
