Laboratory Fermentor

Murhopye Laboratory Fermentors are available in 1 liter to 14 liter capacities. The basic unit comprises of;

* Pyrex glass vessel or jacketted SS vessel with in situ sterilization

* SS head plate provided with standard ports.

* Accurate controls for aeration, agitation and Temperature

* Mechanical shaft seal with double ball bearings for long , contamination free operation

* Magnetically coupled bottom drive as an option

* Detachable modular 19 standard control rack

* Sterilization- Culture vessel autoclavable

CONTROLS

* Aeration control by varying air flow measured by rotameter or Mass flow meter. Air compressor, inlet & outlet filters and needle valve for adjustment complete the system.

* Agitation- Electronically controlled Magnetically coupled or DC drive directly coupled through belt to the agitator.

* Temperature control system- Dual control system of microprocessor based PID version; 5 deg above ambient to 75 +/- 0.1 deg C ( below ambient temperature possible with external chilled water ). Signal output to recorder or for retransmission.
