Pantoprazole

Is a newer H K Atpase inhibitor, similar in potency and clinical efficacy to omepraole but is more acid stable and less active at higher pH. Particularly empolyed in bleeding peptic ulcer and for prophylazis of acute stress ulcers. Risk of drug interactions is minimal. Also available as injection.
