Calcined Alumina

Aluminum Silicate is lightweight and is super white in color. It has high degree of brightness, low plasticity and ease of dispersion. It has low density and very low moisture content. It can partially replace Ti02 to give cost reduction. It acts as a good anti-settling agent. It maintains constant viscosity on storage. Aluminum oxide is a good thermal insulator and electrical insulator. In its most commonly occurring crystalline form, called corundum or a-aluminum oxide, its hardness makes it suitable for use as an abrasive and as a component in cutting tool.
