Ramgarh has a history in its earlier times, on the festival & other events like Birthdays or any Sahi Mohotsawa, the pottery makers went to Rajmahals & present their crafts in the honour of wisdom of His Excellency. In return they are given good amount & other Upadhis. These can consist of religious sense as well as historic ones. Though these are difficult to transport, they are a tribute to artist in Rajasthan who is able to fire clay not just with his but also his imagination & creativity.The craft Clay Pottery is a household industry & the entrepreneur is an artisan who works in his house along with the members of his family. The occupation is hereditary or traditional. The artisans purchase / acquire raw material & manufacture craft for sale.
