Battery Monitoring System

We are working in the field of Design, development and supply of Industrial Electronic equipments which are tailor made to suit specific customer needs.
We are dealing in Computerized Battery Monitoring System. The proposed Computerized Battery Monitoring System (CBMS-4) would be used for measurement of battery capacity and plot the charge and discharge characteristics. The current and voltage levels are suitable for a Ni-Cd, Ni-Mh, SLA and Li-Ion battery. The battery shall be charged and discharged at the preset constant current levels. These can be set through the software. The maximum charge and discharge time shall also be settable for protection. The charging and discharging parameters shall be logged in the computer and the same can be viewed in the graph form or tabular form.
The following parameters can be logged using this system.
* Time : The real time will be recorded so that the data can be plotted with respect to the time. The computers RTC will be used for this.
* Voltage : Battery terminal voltage will be monitored and logged all the time during the charge and discharge cycles.
* Current : Charging and discharging current will be monitored and logged all the time during the charge and discharge cycle.
* Ah Value : The Ah value of the battery shall be computed and displayed after discharge cycle.
* Temp : The temperature can also be logged along with the current, voltage etc. The temperature sensor thermister needs to be attached to the battery. There is provision to take the thremister input.
* The software will keep track of the mode in which the system is working.
