Puroguard - UPX is cost Effective and Broad Spectrum Biocide which have specially formulated dry film preservative for applications in aqueous formulation. It prevents the defacement and deterioration of the paint film coused by the microbial growth, especially by algae, yeast and mould.
Puroguard – UPX described chemically as a blend of chlorinated and non chlorinated isothiazolones. This is non metallic, non phenolic & formaldehyde free.
Puroguard- UPX is aresultant formulation from this study, It is a simple, easy to stir before use and easy to use dispersion for almost all aqueous paint- types with no surface active and free solublizing agents for the active present in its formulation.
Actives are in fact made available in the form of polyencapsulated sol-gel, which is the latest technology Which insures its total uniform presence in dry film. The presence of encapsulated actives and their slow release in dry film therefore fulfills the demand of performance of the dry film.
Application :
Puroguard – UPX is recommended for the wet state microbiological protection of most aqueous compositions including paints, adhesives, cellulose solutions, polymer emulsions, fillers, pottery glazes, inks, metal-working fluids etc.
