Accelerator: Most of the fuel additives available in India are acting as an accelerator, which accelerates the fuel combustion reaction, ultimately resulting in fuel saving for short term. However it has been proved that usage of such accelerators results into large carbon depositions on boiler tubes and consequently resulting in huge deposition of clinkers in boiler in longer usage. Thus the initial saving is not visible in longer period.
Combustion Monitoring Chemical (CMC) TM: So far in this branch of fuel additive, only one company based at Germany is producing additives, which are duel effect. But we are the first company to introduce Triple Effect Combustion Monitoring Chemicals. Thus the chemical has got the property of catalytic reaction for better burning of coal at lower excess air, anti-fouling property to keep the heat transfer are clean and anti-emission property to reduce the emission causing air pollution.
Modified Millennium Edition of Combustion Monitoring Chemical (CMC)TM After continual efforts of our Research and Development Department, we have modifying our products by using advanced selective combustion catalyst to eliminate fireside problems :
For better performance of system following two parameters need to be improved.
Combustion Efficiency and Thermal Resistance of Heat Transfer Surfaces
Combustion efficiency is governed by fuel quality (Ash contents, Carbon, Sulfur, Hydrogen, Nitrogen, Oxygen, Volatile Matters, Moisture, and C.V. etc.), excess air ratio, bed height, particle size, air velocity, furnace configuration and complete oxidation of carbon.
The thermal resistance of heat transfer surfaces depends on tube material, waterside scaling, fireside fouling, particle morphology, presence of volatile and temperature gradients.
The combustion efficiency can be improved by using suitable combustion catalyst. The improved combustion will not only improve the overall efficiency but also reduce the emission level of the system. The additive also alters the particle morphology, which reduces the Accretion or Coating, fouling and clinkering tendency of ash by changing the eutectic structure of ash and thus the thermal efficiency is improved.
Triple effect Altret CMC 95 & 2K series of Combustion Monitoring Chemicals (CMC) TM have following distinguished effects
· Catalytic Effect
· Anti – fouling, Anti-clinkering Effect
· Anti-emission Effect
A unique trial methodology developed by Altret is enough to scientifically prove the effect of product and confirm the benefits to clients. The established services like Flue Gas Analysis, Fuel and Ash analysis by our trained engineers are the supporting tools to understand the need of client.
