Slotted Angles

Slotted Angels are up-Right Angels having two flanges with uniform slots and are fabricated from steel sheet confirming to IS: 513/1973 or IS: 1079/ 1975. It has been designed to make any thing and every thing necessary for solving storage problem. It is in fast a beck-bone of entire storage system.

Since the publication of these specifications, the applications and utility of slotted angles, have multiplied many folds, which were unforeseen earlier. It has compelled the industry to make some minor changes only in its sizes, fix certain lengths and make minor difference in distance of Holes, without affecting its load bearing capacity.

Our Slotted angles confirm to the above noted IS specifications in respect to steel and its holes. Considering its multipurpose uses, we have reduced the distance between the holes, which increase the number of bolting positions in an angle, without affecting its load bearing capacity.

The sizes available are, 40x40x18 G, 40x40x16 G, 40x40x2 mm, 40x40x12 G(2.5 mm ), 40x40x10 G (3 mm), 40x60x14 G and 40x80x12 G. The lengths available are 3 mtr (app. 10 ft/118”), 2.5 mtr (app. 8 ft/98”), 2.2 mtr (app. 7 ft. / 86”), 2 mtr. (app. 6.5 ft / 78”) and 1.8 mtrs (app. 6 ft / 71”). Length more than 3 mtr. / 10 ft. / 118” can be achieved by jointing two angles by Lap type Method or by Butt Type Method.
