Conveyor Belt

The right part of the equipment like Belt Conveyor and Idler is one of the parts of the conveying equipment which is designed for bulk material at any capacity and atmospheric condition. The Rollers are designed considering Indian conditions with EN-8 shaft deep groove ball bearing with proper ceiling fitted on cast iron steel housing with various die and thickness tubes according to the capacities and width of the belt. The mounting brackets are steel section like angles, channels, plates as per IS-226. These brackets are designed which are easy to replace the roller and also for lubrication as and when required. The Return Rollers are designed in the same construction as toughing Rollers.

The heavy duty construction pulleys are provided with steel diaphragms (end disc), welded with the shell and incorporate friction based releasable locking elements, which connect the shaft to the shell without the use of separate hubs. These types of end discs make it possible to eliminate the weld in the high stress zone. These locking elements are self-centering, and self-locking, as well as simultaneously, transmitting more torque as the equivalent solid shaft with keyway and also transmit axial thrusts without keys.

This type of locking assembly also proves invaluable, when shaft or shell require maintenance, as they facilitate easy removal and installation of shaft.
