Series MBT is welded metal bellow seal used in process pumps for high temperature and moderate pressure applications in chemical, petrochemical plants and refineries. The bellow is constructed by welding a series of diaphragms together at the edges. The bellows unit eliminates the need for springs, dynamic secondary seals and provides flexibility to the seal face wear. Drive to the seal ring is given by strong drive lugs, which also protects bellows from damage.
