The blue light of the visible spectrum is said to have a harmful effect on the retina, especially the macular region. The soon to be introduced, Aurolab yellow tinted PMMA lenses, made from imported raw material, have an effective blue light filter that protects the retina. It also has a 360°square edge on the posterior side that reduces PCO effectively.
