Service Description
DXchange is an XML web services based, fully scalable, easily configurable, web-based Data Exchange Middleware Server. A powerful web-based Business Rules Engine with an easy to use web interface is integrated with DXchange server. It connects to diverse systems through SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol). It can communicate with any legacy systems and diverse distributed data sources like SQL Server, Oracle, COBOL, XML, etc. It's architecture is based on SOA in the form of XML Web Service.
Its architecture is Web Services driven and all communication to the server is in the form of a Web Service. This makes the operation of obtaining information simple and transparent to the end user in terms of requests and responses. This is analogous to accessing a database with Security Protocols. Security is configurable and additional security can be implemented by using a Secure Socket Layer. There are no firewall problems, as information is passed across different terminals using SOAP Protocols.
The integrated Business Rules Engine gives the flexibility to keep pace with ever-changing business requirements without any programming or code changes. DXchange allows organizations to expose their data as a Service or allow their applications to be exposed as a Service for consumption by other authorized applications.
