Sheet Moulding compounds are generally used on larger parts for compression moulding; it is used whenever superior mechanical strength is required. The compression moulding of SMC can produce thin-walled components ideal for structural automotive components. Additionally, for certain shapes of SMC, we have developed a unique technology.
