Liquid Level Gauges

Liquid Level Gauges
Product Description

We are leading industrial supplier in the market place. Chem.- Tech Associates is authorized dealer of UNI KLINGER LIMITED. We are one of the well know dealer and wholesaler of Liquid Level Gauges.

UKL Liquid Level Gauges: UKL Liquid Level gauges are used for accurate and effective level indication by almost all industries and various applications.

1) REFLEX – Based on the difference in refractive index of gas and liquid to give level indication

2) Transparent [THRU VISION- a center piece with two transparent glasses, and voce plates from the gauge assembly for direct reading of level as viewed from either side through the glasses.

3)BI- Color – A wedge shaped center piece separates light passing through steam and water, a illuminator with filters further illuminates and  gives red-green indication of steam and water respectively These gauge assemblies come with SS/FS body, and shut-off valves and cocks with standard safety ball check arrangement.

Klinger Original gauge glasses used are toughened extra hard borosilicate glasses, used universally by almost all gauge manufacturers the world over.

Operating Principle:

The Principle of the Reflex glass is based on the difference in the refractive indices of liquid and gas or in particular of water and steam. The gauge glass- a KLINGER reflex glass – has prismatic right angled grooves, on the side facing Media. If a ray of light encounters the surface of on of the 450C slanted grooves in the gas or steam space it is reflected to the opposite surface of the groove and from there totally reflected – back in to the direction of observation. The steam or gas space therefore appears as silver-white.

The Light ray which encounters the surface of a groove in the liquid space is almost totally absorbed or reflected depending upon whether they enter the water or steam space.

Application:

Saturated steam: Upto 32 bar/2360C

Other Media: Max. 160bar / 4000C
