Description:
The UKL Moisture Separator is designed to remove entrained water particles from steam so that they can be drained away as condensate. The water particles settle on the cooler baffle plates & are drained away by the unique design of the body can be used on compressed air lines also.

Condensate formed due to steam condensing in the pipeline may cause problems of varied nature in a steam circuit. It is also possible that the source of condensate could be the boiler supplying wet steam to the plant. It is absolutely essential to remove this condensate from the line for supply of dry steam with minimum pressure drop to the equipment.
UKL Moisture separators are designed to perform this function with high level of efficiency and reliability.
Main Features
The UKL Moisture separators are made in cast Iron and cast steel designs, with IBR wherever necessary. These are of a well-proven multi-baffle design to ensure highest efficiency of condensate removal.
Typically contoured body design allows large flow areas to ensure low pressure drops.
The multi-baffle design will cause total removal of condensate from steam lines that are fed by boilers generating wetness as high as 20%
A drain connection at the tapering end of the body is provided to install the steam trap assembly to ensure that steam does not leave the circuit under any circumstances.
