Zephyr GSM30 gateway provides multiple GSM lines (between 4 and 30) for larger companies. Traditionally companies have had to use one Wireless Landline (also known as a Fixed Cellular Terminal) per line to achieve this. This means that rather than having 12 Wireless Landline boxes, for example, the SIM cards are strung together in a rack mounted unit. In this way, the Zephyr GSM30 gateway replaces the cumbersome fixed wireless terminals and provides accurate ‘answer’ supervision and ‘line disconnect’ supervision.

The user has the possibility to utilize up to 30 GSM channels (in multiples of 4 GSM Channels) and 2 E1/PRI ports. There are two main advantages of 2 E1/PRIs over just 1 E1/PRI:
