It is an integral part of our entire research process, where the QA verifies 30% of the fieldwork of every interviewer through QA and by own independent field team. With the random selection of forms from overall forms of every surveyor, the QA activity is carried out simultaneously with fieldwork and the reports are submitted as to the project in-charge and field department.
Further for monitoring the progress of the survey and quality standards, we also invite clients to accompany us in the field visits with surveyors or quality assurance team. The overall process of the QA at field level, which help us in bringing further improvements in our service quality include:
• Supervisors appointed for each team, who are responsible for the quality assurance of his team.
• Quality assurance surveyor conduct random visits on daily basis for observing the working of every team member.
• Quality assurance surveyor back checks the completed work of all surveyors.
• Quality assurance supervisor also conducts surprise visits for checking the working of quality assurance surveyors and field teams.
• Field executives conduct surprise visits to check his teams.

Code Book:
The required information regarding variables in the data set are documented in this booklet, which is then used as guide to the coders and help researchers in locating the variables they need to use during data analysis. After the coding of data, DP personnel develop individual customized data punching program in FoxPro, Access or VB as per the specific needs of the project. The code book comprises of the components including:

Data Cleaning:
After the data has been entered in the data files, it is cleaned based on predefined rules (either described by researcher or the analyst). We also conduct of the data number of checks including consistency checks, wild code checks, extreme code check etc.
