CYGNUS 1121 Networking Terminal Server

 Single box solution for connecting dumb terminals and PCs/thin clients at a remote station to central PRS/UTS servers over a TCP/IP WAN. Built in features for facilitating PRS-UTS integration.
 WAN ports: 4, or 2 (upgradable to 4), with support for standard routing protocols.
 Standard WAN interface: V.35/RS232. Optionally (in lieu of V.35/ RS232): E1 or ISDN-S may be ordered for direct connection to telecom circuits.
 Asynchronous terminal ports: 8 or 16 terminal ports, supporting TELNET and RLOGIN.
 Ability to open multiple simultaneous sessions facilitates PRS-UTS integration - allows an operator to open sessions with both applications, and to switch between them without  terminating any of them.
 ”Implicit” connection facility allows terminal ports to be automatically connected to specific applications at power on.
 Separate answer back codes for each session enhance security.
 Support for connecting up to eight 10/100 Base-T compatible devices via built-in ethernet switch.
 Menu based supervisor for easy configuration.
 Diagnostic and monitoring facilities include port level diagnostics, statistics and status reports, and a comprehensive set of indicators.
 Support for centralised management through SNMP/TELNET.
 Compact size: 1U height, 19 inch rack mountable.
