• Oil absorption value : 15 to 20%
• Refractive index : 1.55
• Loss on Ignition : 0.3%
• PH of 10% aqueous solution : 8
Chemical Properties:
• Fe2O3 :90.02%
• SiO2 :5.02%
• CaO :0.22 %
The different applications include:
Paint Industry - Paint, primer, powder, coating, etc.
Tiles And Ceramic industry - Pigment in tiles, floor tiles, flooring products, ceramics, pottery and others. Commonly used with cement for flooring with red colour.
Plastic And Rubber industry - For colouring.
