Filters

EPP is having a long experience in designing and manufacturing different type of filters for various applications in Industries like Pharmaceutical , Dyes and Intermediates, Fertilizers, Chemicals, Food
Processing and Petrochemicals. EPP offers Nutsche filters, Disc Filters and Cartridge filters.

Nutsche Filter

This is one of the simplest batch type filter. It’s a dish end type of tank with a filter plate fitted or bolted inside with flanges having a cloth as filter media. Filter plate is perforated to pass the filtrate.

The slurry fed into the filter vessel is separated into filtrate and the residue in the form of cake on the filter cloth which can be removed manually. The filter can be offered up to operating vacuum of 720 mm of Hg.

Disc Filter

The term Disc Filter is applied to the assemblies of Filter discs that
is made up of PP or PVDF andsealed into pressure case. Widely used for polishing of beverages, plating solution and other low
viscosity liquids containing small quantity ofsuspended matter. Disc filters are almost always operated as pressure filters. In the
design of sparkler filter, both sides of each plate are used as filtering surfaces having paper or other media clamped against
them. Pressure filter can be offered up to operating pressure of 6 kg/cm2. Disc filters can be offered into various sizes to suit the fluid flow and particle loading in the fluids. Disc filters will be offered with recirculation pump, and the total assembly is mounted on trolley to mobilize the filter in plant/factory.
