The transfer is achieved by Fly Ash Feeding System FAFS-1/FAFS-2 designed, manufactured and serviced by FIBOMACH engi-techquip.
It is a system to help achieve set target in cost and time. The system consists of two-in-built options: conveying directly from a 30-tonne special bulker (which has an integrated piping) to the main silo.
This is achieved by pressurizing and aerating the bulker, the conveying rate being 30-35 tonnes/hr. The Fly Ash received in bags is dumped in hopper and pumped through screw/RAV to a mixing zone, where the material is fluidized and conveyed to the main silo, the transfer rate being 18-20 or 22-25 or 8-10 tonnes/hr.
