Luminaire:

Comprises a single piece gravity die cast LM6 aluminum housing fitted with an elegantly shaped aluminum canopy. Housing is finished in stove enamelled grey from outside and the aluminum canopy is stove enamelled red. A luminary is prewired with copper wound polyester ballast, power factor improvement capacitor, lamp holder, electronic ignitor and mains connector. A silicon gasket is provided between the lamp and housing. Toggles are to ensure rigid closing of the top cover. The sealed construction due to corrosion & dust deposition, thereby, maintaining almost constant (except lumen depreciation of lamp) illumination level throughout the lamp life. A special cap ensures proper alignment of the REFLUX lamp with road surface.

Cable Entry

Is through the mounting pipe and terminates on a 2 way connector inside the controlgear housing.

Mounting:

Extended position of control gear housing facilities mounting through a pipe having maximum 60 mm O.D. Suitable for end/top mounting access to the luminaries is from top unlike the conventional luminaire.

Relamping:

Top cover can easily hinged for lamp replacement. fix the lamp in the lampholder by turning it in the clockwise direction till a 'click' sound is heard. This ensures proper electrical & mechanical contact of the lamp & holder. Rotate the lamp further in the same direction to align it horizontally with the road surface.

Application:

Ideal for illuminating stress with high density/fast traffic. Also recommended for roads with corrosive & dusty atmosphere. Due to integral constructional the luminaire is compact & aseptically appealing.
