It all started off in 1963 as a dream of the great visionary, Late Shri Krishan Kumar Chopra. After establishing himself in the business of project contracts, he set up a manufacturing unit at Faridabad. Started as a unit to fabricate Underground Storage Vessels for petrol stations, and Above-ground Vertical Tanks for Oil Installations, the unit today manufactures sophisticated items meeting world standards. Our disciplined and methodical approach to manufacturing has earned us accolades resulting in the patronage of prestigious clients. In 1982, Globe Hi-Fabs supplied the first Aircraft Refueller of 9 kilolitres capacity to Indian Oil Corporation Limited. Since then, we have specialized in the design and manufacture of refuellers of various sizes ranging from 4KL to 45 KL capacity. We have supplied these to all Oil Companies, private operators and the Indian Air Force. Aviation Fuelling equipment is complemented by special purpose vehicles like Hydrant Dispensers, Pit Cleaning Vehicles, Fuel Bowsers and Road Tankers. Our far-sighted and long-term contribution has today brought our operations to the level of international standards. At GHF, we manufacture vehicle-mounted refuellers with tank capacities ranging from 2KL to 45KL. Refuellers are supplied either on a Rigid Chassis or as articulated vehicles. The refueller consists of a chassis, tank and, fuelling & defuelling system. The tank could be made of Mild Steel internally epoxy-coated steel or Stainless Steel or Aluminium. The tank design is based on the Indian Petroleum Act 1934 and the Petroleum Rules 1976. Mostly all of the specifications (size, chassis type and make, tank structure, etc) are laid down by our clients and are built-in within statutory and safety guidelines. In the Refuelling and Defuelling module, all components are sourced from reputed manufacturers the world over.
