Bottom loading oil tankers

We fabricated and supplied the first environment friendly 20KL Tank Truck with bottom loading and vapor recovery system to Bharat Petroleum in 1999. The equipment got wide acceptance and we were asked to fabricate many more such tank trucks, the latest being 28 KL and 35 KL tank-trucks for Shell India . Bottom loading oil tankers have the following benefits :

 • They are safer, as Tank filling operation is at ground level.

• They are faster, as Tank compartments can be filled simultaneously.

• They are cleaner, as Loading is done through dry disconnect coupling

• The vapour-return process is simplified

• Vapour reduction, as amount of vapour discharged to the atmosphere, is reduced

• Splash Loading is eliminated , reducing generation of static electricity
