Sharbat

Popular in India, sharbat is a chilled, sweet drink flavored from fruit juice or flower petals, which is sometimes thick enough to eat with a spoon. It was popularized by the Mughal rulers one of whom sent for frequent loads of ice from the Himalayas to get a cool refreshing drink. Some of the very popular sharbats are made of (any of the following):Rose, Bel, Gurhal, Lemon, Orange, ananaas, falsa.
