Product Description

Harin's HP-EPOXY PRIMER/ZR is a two component epoxy polymide primer

HP - EPOXY Primer / ZR is recommended as a long life primer on steel subjected to severely corrosive industrial and marine atmosphare

SURFACE PREPARATION

New Steel: Abrasive blasting to Sa 2 1/2. For temporary protection, if required, use suitable shop primer. All damage of shop primer and contamination from storage and fabrication should be thoroughly cleaned prior to final painting. On metal and light al1oys: Thorough degreasing and light abrasive sweeping, if necessary, to remove all contamination.

Maintenance: Remove oil and grease etc. with suitable solvent. Remove salt and other contaminants by hosing. Remove all loose rust and old loose paint by wire brushing and then passivate the surface by applying rust converter or else abrasive blast as per new steel before applying  HP-EPOXY PRIMER.

APPLICATION CONDITIONS

Apply only on a dry and clean surface with a temperature above the dew point to avoid condensation. In confined spaces provide adequate ventilation during application and drying. Fol1ow al1 safety precautions required recommended for application of paint.

SUBSEQUENT COAT

Use HP - EPOXY TOPCOAT or HP-EPOXY HIBUILD.
