SETTINGS OF ELECTRONIC FUEL CONTROLLER(EFC)

E F C consists of following TERMINALS & CONTROL POTS. Please

follow the instruction, carefully for optimum & smooth economic

performance of engine. IMPORATANTAvoid face contact of unit from engine, to prevent over heating. Installation & setting should carried out by qualified technician only. Always use insulated ‘O’ ring type wire lugs for termination. Always set RUN-SPEED first & then after set the IDLE-SPEED. Always start the engine in IDLE mode, after all setting is done.

WIRE CONNECTION & INDICATION

CONNECTION	PRECUATION & RATING
BATTERY	16VDC to 36VDC with correct polarity.
ACTUATOR	Check actuator movement and coil isolation with external supply of 12V battery. Current should not be more than 6.Amp. Faulty actuator may damage the EFC.
MPU	Set gap between MPU unit & starter gear-wheel teeth. MPU-LED should glow as engine starts to rotate.
RUN/IDLE	Connect switch so that in idle mode, terminal should sort and in run mode, it should open.
REMOTE POT	Use 10K, 5W (Minimum) wire-wound pot. Keep remote-pot at middle position and set the required speed with EFC pot.
POWER LED	RED LED indicates battery supply.
MPU LED	GREEN LED glows-up, if positive signal is received from MPU unit, as engine starts to rotate.
