The quality of the knitted fabric is judged by the softness and shrinkage factor and its control is critical to the final garment having good dimensional stability. JANAKSONS OVERSEAS has been servicing the Indian knitting industry with the required technology of Navis Global, USA since 1994.
Navis Global (Tubular Textile Machinery, USA) offers the complete range for knitted fabric finishing with shrinkage and yield control. This range produces high quality knitted fabrics at a low cost per unit. Residual shrinkage/results (tumble drying) below 3% consistently, with Navis Global as against internationally acceptable standard of below 5%. This ensures the stabilization of fabric weight, length as well as width. The total system is divided into three major units. The 4-Roll Pad, the Relax Conveyor Dryer and the Pak-Nit II Delta Plus Compactor.
The 4-Roll Pad used in the first operation after dyeing, bleaching or scouring gives quality benefits like excellent detwisting, stitch orientation, consistent width control, cross line straightening and uniform chemical impregnation at speeds of 70-80 mtrs/min. with either single or double strand.
The Relax Conveyor Dryer assures high production with efficient energy use. Being modular, it can be customized for each factory depending on specific needs. In addition to drying in relaxed manner, it controls residual length shrinkage and gives bulkiness and softness to fabric.
Navis Global offers separate compactors for tubular as well as open width fabrics. These compactors offer guaranteed shrinkage control capability of upto 25% compaction at a speed of 50-60meters/min. This single pass operation is so effective in fabric handling to give wrinkle free, soft fabric having uniform shrinkage, width and weight, ensuring a final product unequalled and appearance.
In addition to the above machines, Navis Global has also acquired world renowned manufacturers Marshall & William for Stenters and JEMCO Bleaching machines for continuous bleaching in rope forms.
