Process:
The paddy is graded, sorted and soaked in boiling water for about 12 hours. The water is removed and the paddy is roasted on fine hot sand. The sand is then separated by sieve. The roasted paddy is passed through rollers of the flaking machines. The bran is removed by sieve. The flaked rice is sorted and graded.
