Palladium Catalyst
Palladium Catalysts is widely used for synthesis of speciality chemicals because many reactions can take place by the catalysts at a lower temperatue and pressure with a minimal quantity and minimal side reaction, especially in the hydrogenation of olefins and aromatic nitro compounds.
One of the most challenging problems in organic synthesis is the formation of a C-C bond between an aromatic carbon and the carbon alpha to a carbonyl group. Recently, a significant effort has been devoted to improving and establishing palladium catalysis methodology as an efficient route to prepare many biologically active carbonyl compounds.
