Established in the year 1971, K.U. Sodalamuthu and Co. (P) Ltd. is an ISO 9001:2000 certified firm engaged in the manufacturing and exporting of a comprehensive range of paper conversion machinery. Being a pioneer in our field, these dimensionally accurate machines are catering to the requirements of textile paper cones, paper tubes, cores, composite cans, fiber drums, paper recycling, hydraulic baling press and other applications.

Our firm was conceptualized by Late Mr. K.U.Sodalamuthu, who saw immense growth potential in the Paper Conversion Machinery industry. His passion towards his work and prudent business strategies helped us in entering and progressing in an uncommon field like textile. After so many years, the company is still marching ahead amidst all competitions and is successfully managed by Mr. K.S.Viswanathan, Mr. K.S.Subramaniam and Mr. K.S.Balamurugan. They efficiently control the Production, Marketing and Administration department respectively.

We have undertaken numerous installation and allied projects across the world. We have accomplished more than 500 installation projects so far and are still in the process of adding more to the list. The projects executed by us were regarding the following:

Our vast range of machines are used in diverse applications such as Cores for winding fax rolls, telex rolls, toilet paper, newsprint, kraft paper, cores to wind BOPP tapes, polyester films, metalised foil, Yarn carrier for POY winding, DTY winding, open-end spinning, fabric and jute winding, non-woven fabrics, carpet yarn winding, Thermo-couple tubes, Electronic cores, Civil construction, Storage tubes, pyro-technic cores and mailing tubes.
Our Network
Our main head office and manufacturing units are located in Coimbatore. Apart from that we have set up branch offices at New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai to handle pre and after sales enquiries from our clients. As we are catering to the globally based clientele as well, we also have overseas branch offices in USA, UK, Russia, Bangladesh, Malaysia, South Africa, Syria, Spain, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Italy, Kuwait, Iran and other countries.
Infrastructural set up
Leveraging on our excellent infrastructural set up, we are able to meet the qualitative and quantitative demands of our global clients. Our world class manufacturing unit is spread in an area of 4500sq.feet and is equipped with technically advanced machines and high tech production facilities. This allows us to achieve a production capacity of 250 units. Monitored and handled by our technocrats and other professionals, our production facilities enable us to meet the accuracy and functional demands of our machines. Different machines used to fabricate our paper conversion machinery are:

In addition to this, we have our own design unit that uses CAD/CAM and other designing software to bring out innovation in terms of functionality and design of the machines.
Quality Assurance
We abide by the guidelines and rules laid by the ISO 9001:2000 standard and employ them throughout our production process. Our streamlined quality control system helps us to regulate the whole production process and enable us to manufacture most qualitative range of products. Our quality inspector conducts rigorous tests at different levels and eliminates any defective piece from the process. All machines are subjected to stringent tests during designing, fabrication, assembly and testing to ensure zero defects. Our machines are tested on the following parameters:

•Dimensions
•Finishing
•Metallurgical testing of raw materials
•Power consumption
•Tensile strength
