Kad Steel Rolling Mills is a part of Kad group of companies, which was established by J.M. Kad in the early 1960 in Ahmedabad. Originally from Punjab, J.M. Kad came to Ahmedabad with an ambition to develop his own business.

He commenced as a commission agent for Brass Utensils. Between 1970 and 1980, machine tools agency and a company for Non ferrous trading was established. Further company expanded its business and shifted to selling of SS Utensils, Circles, etc.

At present the young and dynamic generation brimming with enthusiasm had registered a staggering growth in last 5 years.

In 2006-07 the group turnover touched 400 millions INR.
