A Graded English Grammar and Composition

The section on vocabulary is designed to develop essential skills and strategies for more effective learning of new words and building students’ word power.

The section on composition aims at training students to acquire the basic writing skills such as eliciting and arranging information in a suitable order and expressing it clearly and effectively. Letters, stories, paragraphs and longer descriptions are arranged roughly in order of difficulty.

The section on comprehension includes a wide range of stories and paragraphs to train students to scan long texts to assimilate the main ideas and related information.

The series offers a wide range of tasks and exercise types to maintain a high level of student interests. It also provides regular revision and recycling of materials taught earlier and can be used independently by students with very little help from the teachers.
