Company Information

LIBRA, the holding company for the Wazir Group of Companies was founded in 1961 by Late Shri. Shyam Lal Wazir.      

LIBRA entered the manufacturing field in 1971 under the leadership of Mr. Surinder Wazir, a Chemical Engineer from University of Tulsa, Oklahoma, U.S.A. and put up its first Formaldehyde plant. The plant capacity was subsequently increased and the unit diversified into the production of Hexamine and later Para formaldehyde after developing its technology.

Quality Assurance

In order to meet the challenge of technology obsolescence and to foster innovation, Libra has constructed a state of the art R&D facility, located at Navi Mumbai. This research centre has been operational since March 2005.
