Indian Fighter Kites

A piece of tissue paper and couple of thin
bamboo sticks combined with a long thread
seems to be a humble ingredient for making
of Indian fighter kites (Pataang). But for many
craftsmen in India this simple recipe is the
passion of their lives. They prepare varieties
of colorful/designer kites and specially designed
thread called Manja (a traditional Indian thread
of recipe unique to each craftsmen especially
designed for Indian fighter kites).
