Eletriptan is chemically designated as 3-[[(R)-1-Methyl-2-pyrrolidinyl]methyl]-5-[2-(phenylsulfonyl)ethyl]indole, monohydrobromide. Eletriptan is an oral drug that is used for treating migraine headaches. It is in the "triptan" class of drugs.
