Tungsten powder is used to manufacture lamp filament, heating elements, drill bits, Nozzle heads, semiconductors, inertial weights, target for X -ray tubes, vibration damping, as heavy metal alloy, counter balances, radioisotopes containers, armor penetration & diamond segment. These powders are mostly used in the manufacture of diamond segments by hot pressing as additives in the metal matrix to improve the diamond reteation and cutting ability. Also, these powders are used to manufacture electrical contact and tungsten carbide powders.
