Nakshatra embodies the best that has been thought and said in Vedic Astrology. The aim here is to make an honest evaluation of the chart and assess its strengths and weaknesses. Nakshatra is a tribute to the memory of late Shri B. Kalyanasundaram, L.L.B. F.R.E.S.(London), a scholar and philosopher in his own right who retired from the post of Deputy Secretary Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industries Calcutta. For him Astrology, though not a profession was nevertheless a passion. The fundamentals of Astrology that he bequeathed proved to be a legacy, richer than the richest treasure of the world, a foundation, which is secure enough to support an edifice of considerable strength. The high ideals set by him shall always be kept in mind. Divya Jain, proprietor of Nakshatra is his granddaughter and has been schooled in the best traditions of Astrology. The two ecourses are directly inspired by his thoughts and are earnest attempts to do away with certain evils which have entered the great science of Astrology mainly that of extorting huge sums of money from gullible victims in the name of upaya. The horoscope is like a roadmap to the journey of life and can give valuable clues to matters governing all the important aspects of life like education, profession, finances, relationships, marriage, children, health, general prosperity and happiness. A proper evaluation of the horoscope highlights its strengths and weaknesses.
Nakshatra Believes
³ The horoscope is a personal document, more personal than a bank account passbook.
³ Just as the bank passbook contains all the details of financial credits and debits that an individual makes, so also, the horoscope is a statement of an individual’s Karmic credits and debits.
³ If funds are available in the bank account and a cheque is presented, the money is made available at once. But if funds are deficient in the account, no money will be made available even if a cheque is presented ten times.
³ Similarly, if there is a balance of good karmas in an individual’s life, there is a hope that remedial measures will bear fruit. But if there is a deficiency of good karmas, remedial measures will take time to fructify.
³ Remedial measures should be practised by the individual himself or herself in order to get the best results.
³ The method of doing this is discussed in the section Train Your Mind, Master Your Destiny. It is effective scientific and costs almost nothing. Rather, it is an excellent method of training the mind.
