Tin-Cardboard Reels

Product Description

We are proud to be among the first in India to manufacture this type of hybrid reels. The barrel of these reels is made out of tinplate sheets0.22 mm thick and the flanges are made from cardboard of thickness3-4 mm. If required, the cardboard flanges are pasted with plain white paper or printed paper as per customer’s requirement. These reels are basically used for winding Single/ Multicore cables of OD up to 11 mm, length up to 100 yards. They can withstand weight up to 15-18 kg.

The salient feature of this type of reels is they are made from recyclable material and hence are best suited for winding export quality cables. Below is the table depicting different sizes of cardboard-tin reels presently manufactured by us. Apart from the standard sizes given below, we can also design custom reels as per your specification. Alternatively, you can give us the OD & length of the cable to be wound, and we will let you know the size of reel that will fit your requirement.
