Multiple strands of fine drawn copper wire provide greater flexibility, which is ideal for conduit wiring. Multiple strands construction has tremendous benefits as compared to conventional solid strand wires as under:-

*Provide Line contact instead of point to contact in view of higher surface area of multi strands of copper wire compared to solid strands.
