Auto Transformer

Auto Transformers are more economical, smaller in size & lighter in weight than isolation transformers designed to carry the same load. Possible restriction should be checked under local codes before installing an Auto transformer. We supply Auto Transformers up to 50KVA. In an autotransformer a portion of the same winding acts as part of both the primary and secondary winding. The auto transformers are used on long rural power distribution lines.
