Silica gel is high capacity absorbents available today in porous, granular and amorphous form. It is synthetically manufactured from the chemical reaction between sulfuric acid and sodium silicate. The internal structure of Silica Gel is composed of a vast network of interconnected microscopic pores which attract and hold water, alcohol, hydrocarbons and other chemicals by the phenomena known as physical adsorption and capillary condensation. Silica gel is non-toxic and non-flammable.

It has been widely used in ocean shipping containers with obvious effect to resist dampness mildew, fungus and mold, staining and cracking. in order to save goods because of high humidity in the process of ocean shipping.

Silica gel available in many convenient sizes from 1 gm to 10 kg packs.  For different applications. For larger areas, you can combine units for protection.
