The Kapadia Group is deep rooted in the textile industry since 1961. From a small business setup of eight power looms, the family wrote their success story in the history of Surat with installation of imported TFO from RPR – Italy fully automated high speed somet rapier power looms with jacquard in 1990 and computerized designing system sophism (CADCAM) from Belgium in 1993. 

Today the Kapadia group is headed by Shri Babubhai Kapadia (D.T.T) under new name SALONI IMPEX, with immense support from his three sons – namely Mr. Manish (D.M.T.T), Mr. Nimesh (D.M.T.T.) and Mr. Kuldeep (MBA Finance). They have visited many international exhibitions and Mr. Manish has availed practical training in the field of textile designing from Belgium.

The promoter have participated in various textile and apparel fairs at Spain, Germany, France and other countries and has made numerous foreign tours.

Present Business Activity:

The group has a well established textile factory at Kim, 45 Kms, away from Surat City with 78 nos. of jacquard power looms and other ancillary machineries. The factory building has a built up capacity to install furthered seventy on job work basis, taking the annual turnover of the group to Rs. 50 million.

 The skilled and experienced staff of about 100 persons along with the long association with textile worker has scaled the production level to new heights and the quality of the products is extremely fine and well accepted in the international markets.

Over 80% of the production is directly exporter to Indonesia, Dubai and Spain and negotiation are under process with many other countries.

Future Plan:

The group plans to expand the production capacity from current 80000 meters per month to 120000 meter per month, with installation of new high speed Rapier Looms, the group turnover is expected to across Rs. 100 million in next 2 years.
