Gimbal Expansion Joints

The most reliable form of flexible joint is Gimbal Joint capable of absorbing angular motion in all planes. The incorporation includes a pair of hinges connected to a floating Gimbal ring which has a very special advantages like absorbing pressure thrust, supporting the dead weight of the system, transmission of wind & shear loads through the Gimble Structure. These joints usually in pairs will permit piping to float in relation to the terminal points.
