The year was 1956, Two visionaries Mr. G.D.Goyal and Mr.O.P.Goyal decided to Change the trucking business in India. They started Road Transport Corporation (RTC) with a single truck and operated between Calcutta and Chennai. Their success soon brought the other family members, Mr. V.P. Goyal and Mr. D.N.Goyal into the business and they expanded the operations by forming South Eastern Roadways (SER).These founders used their visionary powers to guide SER/RTC on the path of growth.

Today their legacy lives on and inspires SER/RTC to achieve greater goals.

South Eastern Roadways and the Road Transport Corporation (SER/RTC), part of the Group SER today has a network of over 500 branches spread across the subcontinent connected through IT and Communication to serve its customers in the areas of logistic operations.
