Day 2: After breakfast proceed to Cherrapunjee (56 km), the wettest place on earth. Enjoy a pleasant drive to see roaring waterfalls leaping into deep gorges, including the famed Nohsngithiang falls. The lovely town is also famous for its limestone caves and orange honey. Watch the Dain-Thlen Falls, Noh-Kalikai Falls, Noh-Sngithiang Falls and also drive to the Mawsmai Cave, Thangkharang Park and the Living root Bridge. Return to Sillong. En route spend time at the Shillong Peak. Overnight stay will be at Shillong.
Day 3: Enjoy local sightseeing of the ‘Scotland of the East’ Shillong covering Cathedral Churche, Lady Hydari Park, the Orchidarium, Elephant Falls and the Golf Course and drive back to Guwahati and then proceed for a short tour of Guwahati covering Srimanta Shankardev Kalakshetra, and local Emporiums for ethnic local products.
